About the build
Built on a stunning rural property in North Queensland, the design for this unique home was inspired by our client's Zimbabwean heritage, travels to Morocco and the tropical climate of North Queensland. The home is built on one level with uninterrupted views of the rural property from every room. Exposed rafters and dramatic triple hight cathedral ceilings are a striking feature
The home features a large stone wall with a wood burning fireplace as the focal point. The rocks used throughout the home were hand picked from the local quarry.
Spotted gum timber floors and brass pendant lighting throughout add to the rustic charm of the home. All timber doors were custom made for the home.
The infinity edge pool, also built by In-House Projects, was designed to maximise the views of the property's billabong beyond.
